When I was a teenager I obsessed to histories, conspiracies, and an odd arts. It triggered by Professor Langdon. Yes, he is. In the 2008 my father brought me to the book store. That was my birthday and he wanted me to choose my own present.

I was so excited at that time, I checked all over the book shelf and I found my very first ‘adult’ novel. I asked my father what kind of story is this but, he immediately challenge me to read it within a week and I should answer the questions he would made afterwards. I agreed.

I read it thrice, it is hard for me to recognize every pieces and to understand what Dan Brown trying to deliver to the reader. It does make sense because I just a little curious girl at that time. I failed the test. I know nothing.

“You will understand, sooner or later” — my father said.

As I grow up, I read another Dan Brown’s books. My favorite is The Lost Symbol. But I realized that I put more attention to another books which are Angel & Demon and Inferno. They are linked to each other as I understand. The idea, the symbols, the case, the purpose. It is to show the beauty of Italia.

I re-read Inferno and re-watch the movie this week due to my curiosity because I feel weird about something no one will ever believe. The pandemic, it related…
